Reno Underwater

We are watching closely to see how much worse it can get in Reno and Sparks over New Years. You can check out the up to date information at www.krnv.com or any of the other local stations in the Reno/Sparks area. We hope everyone we know stays high and dry. A storm is also blowing into Las Vegas right now, so I don't know if we will have any fireworks for the over 300,000 people that came here for New Years, but at least we aren't flooded. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Merry Christmas from Vegas!

Arnold may be happy with wrapping paper, but I like my laptop better. It has a nice wide screen and I can do my blog postings, watch movies and anything else I want from the comfort of ........ anywhere.

Jeff & Arnold

Jeff and Arnold are checking out pre-Christmas packages from Pat and Sue in North Carolina. Arnold wants the beer removed so he can enjoy his boxes, but of course he licked all the bottles as Jeff went through them.

Ledcor Holiday Dinner

Jeff flew in from Hawaii on Thursday night, just in time to attend his company holiday dinner with me on Friday, December 16th. The food was good and they had Guinness on tap, which made my night. Jeff drank Newkie Brown and the more he drank the more fun he had. Apparently there were televisions in the men's restroom, so the more he drank the more television he got to watch too. Happy Holidays to one and all!

San Diego SUPER Chargers!!

We don't always have something to celebrate ~ so we sing when we can. San Diego Super Chargers was lot's of fun to sing on Sunday, December 18th when the Chargers beat up the unbeatable Colts!!! YEAH CHARGERS!!!!

Birthday Bash for Chris

There seems to be a theme here, but I just can't put my finger on it. What a snazzy hard hat, but it's hard to tell if it fit on Chris' head or was just sitting on the top. It looks like a very fun time was had by all. Happy Birthday!!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRISTOPHER!!!!!

This is what Chris looks like after WE have had a few too many ~ a little fuzzy. Have a great birthday Chris and we hope to have picture's of your festivities to post~ preferably in a party hat. A lot has changed since your last birthday, this is your first birthday as a daddy!!!

Cheers!!

Cheers from Jeff in Hawaii. This view is from his lanai (balcony) at the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa in Kona, Hawaii. Thanks to the camera timer, he was able to get a picture of himself enjoying his morning coffee. Although hopping from island to island visiting construction sites can be tiring, Jeff still finds time to soak up the local amenities ~ mainly beer and coffee. Beer must be enjoyed primarily in Hawaii, it doesn't travel quite as easily as the coffee. BOTTOM'S UP!!

Macau Casino Project

Philip at work in Macau, which is where he spends most of his time when not running mini-marathons.

Athlete Payne

Don't let the Party Time attire decieve you Athlete Payne is confident and prepared for this grueling event. This is a great action shot of Payne smoking the competition in this 10K run to the finish line. Way to go Philip!!!

Marathon Man in Macau

Group picture of the Galaxy Resort team before 7:00am and their impending run in the mini marathon. A daunting group of athletes to be sure. There were over 5,000 entries from numerous countries participating in this event.

Nathan and Varya and the Next Addition

Merry Christmas from Varya and Nathan who have a production of their own underway. Baby Payne is expected in February of 2006, which will give us lot's more blogging opportunties. Happy Holidays!!!

Nichole meets Granddad

Many family members have traveled to see Nichole, but non further than granddad, who came from Macau. Now that's a granddad for you ~ she has put on her cutest face, but I don't think there is any other kind. She likes the camera a lot more than granddad does, but he finds it more fun to watch Nichole. Who can blame him?

Grandma's Pride and Joy

Here is our latest addition to the family. Nichole goes from five days old to three months in these two pictures. She is learning very early who her grandmother is and seems quite happy about it.
